ParsNord joins THERMOCOOL — next‑generation thermal‑electrical devices for heat & power management
ParsNord is a consortium partner in THERMOCOOL, an EU project developing low‑cost, sustainable thermoelectric and ferroelectric devices (thermoelectric generators & coolers, pyroelectric/piezoelectric and electrocaloric modules). The project brings together industry and academia across Europe to replace critical/expensive materials, scale novel materials into modules, and validate five demonstrators — including in‑package Peltier coolers for battery and data‑centre thermal management, high‑efficiency solar‑thermoelectric generators (STEG), wearable pyroelectric‑piezoelectric harvesters, HPC cooling tests and radar receivers with electrocaloric cooling.
ParsNord contributes module design, manufacturing and demonstrator integration (STEG and TC demonstrators) to move technologies toward higher TRL and commercial adoption.
